Gangotri Dey joined the Center for Technology Licensing in December 2021 as the Business Development & Licensing Associate for the Physical Sciences team. Gangotri supports the team’s technology commercialization efforts across physical sciences and engineering domains in this role.
Gangotri holds degrees in chemistry, including a Ph.D. from Univ. College Cork in Ireland; B.Sc. (Hons) from Calcutta University and M.Sc. from Pune University in India. Post-graduation, she worked as Research Associate in the High-performance computing department at George Washington University and later in the Chemistry department at Rutgers University, where she interned as an intern at Rutgers’ Office of Research and Commercialization. Most recently, she worked as a Lecturer in the Chemistry department at Rutgers University and New Jersey Institute of Technology while also providing independent IP consulting services to a wide variety of clients, including small and micro-entity inventors, startups, and search firms in patent preparation.
