SUMMARY:AI Series Part 1 | AI in University Commercialization Practices
DESCRIPTION:Topic: AI Series\, Part 1 | AI in University Commercialization Practices \nWhen: Thursday\, April 18\, 2024 | 12:00pm ET \nRegistration:**  **Click Here \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. \n————————————————— \nWebinar Description: \nAs the world of AI continues to grow\, we will dive into a couple of programs that have sprouted in the Technology Transfer space to understand how AI can be used to help the process of university commercialization functions. Marc Sedam of NYU and James Zanewicz of Tulane University will join us to discuss how their institutions have adopted the use of AI. \n\nNew York University has released the TOV-AI™ prompts to the university tech transfer community with the goal of widespread adoption of AI use cases. These prompts are the result of a concerted effort to implement AI in fundamentally all back-office processes to improve efficiency and allow all TTOs to scale using technology and not headcount. The presentation will give a brief overview of the strategy behind the prompts\, use cases including time and cost savings\, and where TTOs can find additional revenue through improved license compliance.\nTulane Medicine was one of the first Academic Medical Centers to join The Alliance for AI In Healthcare\, recognizing the importance AI was going to play in the field. In addition to covering the AAIH and Tulane’s engagement with AI from an Industry perspective\, the presentation will cover ways to employ AI in Business Development\, Operational and Marketing/Communications initiatives.\n\nThis webinar is open to all of OUP’s academic institution partners. The webinar will be recorded and available on YouTube within a week of the live version.
