SUMMARY:I-Corps Regional Course hosted by Cornell University
DESCRIPTION:In this 4.5-week virtual course (February 27 – March 29)\, researchers working on a deep tech innovation “get out of your comfort zone” and talk with customers (virtually) to identify the best product-market fit. You may apply with a team of 1-3 people. Teams may not split attendance between members. Please only include the members of your team that will be fully participating in the course. SUMMARY:2023 Weill Cornell Medicine Startup Symposium & InvestConnect Conference
DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Weill Cornell Medicine Startup Symposium & InvestConnect Conference is a full-day event where faculty founders\, investors\, and ecosystem partners convene to learn more about WCM innovations. \nThe morning program includes panel discussions and presentations directed to startup founders. This year\, the event will feature a fireside chat with a special guest\, Behzad Aghazadeh\, PhD’00\, Managing Partner\, Avoro Capital Advisors. The morning panel discussions and presentations are open to all conference registrants. \nThe afternoon program offers a hybrid forum for WCM founders to hold 1:1 meetings with early-stage investors. The meetings are pre-arranged using a technology platform hosted by BioVenture eLab. Use of the technology platform is by invitation only. \nAll conference registrants are welcome to interact with WCM founders during the Startup Showcase in the afternoon (2-5.30 pm). Startup Showcase will offer a forum for posters and technology demonstrations of WCM innovations.
