SUMMARY:CTAM Fund Information Session #1 - Webinar
DESCRIPTION:In response to President Martha Pollack’s announcement related to the COVID-19 pandemic\, the team at the Center for Technology Licensing has made the transition to virtual operations. Through this time we are committed to maintaining key programs supporting our faculty and startups including the Cornell Technology Acceleration and Maturation (CTAM) fund Spring funding cycle. While we may need to change the program as time goes on\, we’re opening the call for applications for the Spring Cycle and will proceed with our virtual information sessions noted below. \nThe CTAM fund provides up to $50\,000 in critical funding to advance technologies of promise towards commercialization and venture creation. The program is open for online application in the Spring and Fall. Two types of projects are eligible for funding: \n• Cornell Lab-based Projects where funding is provided directly to the university lab of faculty\, research staff and/or graduate students\, who are listed inventors of Cornell technologies.\n• Cornell Company-based Projects for Cornell-licensed startups\, resident companies of Cornell incubators\, or participants in the Runway Postdoc program at Cornell Tech. Funding is provided in the form of a convertible note. \nAt this time we are maintaining our application deadline of April 20\, 2020. \nLearn how your research or company project can receive up to $50K! \nRegister here
