Aaron Delahanty joined the Center for Technology Licensing as a Venture Fellow in 2022 and currently holds the title of Technology Acceleration and Venture Manager, a position within the Technology and Venture Initiatives & Engagement (TVIE) group at CTL.

In this role, Aaron manages the Ignite gap funding programs: Ignite Innovation Acceleration, Ignite Fellow for New Ventures, and Ignite Intern for Startups. His work focuses on expanding the office’s outreach to university innovators and supporting faculty and entrepreneurs in accelerating Cornell technologies. He coordinates with the Business Development groups to identify projects and intellectual property with high potential for commercialization and actively monitors the progress of Cornell-licensed startups.

Prior to joining CTL, Aaron contributed to the research and development of a variety of technologies, including positions held at Harvard Medical School’s Wyss Institute and Belgium’s semiconductor research institute, imec.

Aaron undertook his Ph.D. research at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
