Matthieu Dumont is an innovation and technology-transfer leader. He serves as Associate Director of Business Development and Licensing at Cornell University’s Center for Technology Licensing, where he supports commercialization in engineering and physical sciences through strategic partnerships, licensing, and startup formation. Before joining CTL in 2026, he led Department of War technology transfer efforts at TechLink for five years and has held senior roles spanning university technology transfer, intellectual property strategy, and scientific advisory work. He holds a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry and is known for a data-driven, collaborative approach to translating research into real-world impact.
