Tian Tang is an Innovation Fellow with the Physical Sciences team. Her role involves identifying Cornell research with commercial potential, assessing markets, and developing innovation roadmaps for IP protection and marketing.
Tian obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University in 2024. Her research focused on developing sustainable rechargeable batteries by suppressing physicochemical instabilities at electrochemical interfaces. Tian was a CTL practicant before joining the Physical Sciences team full-time. Prior to coming to Cornell, Tian earned a B.E. in Materials Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University.
