1. Strategies to Engage Investors for Technology New Ventures: Friday, April 12, 2:30-3:15p. Statler ballroom, Ithaca, NY.

• • In partnership with Praxis and CLSV

Moderated by Alice Li, Executive Director at the Center for Technology Licensing at Cornell University, this panel invites a diverse group of investors, each offering a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges within today’s investment environment. The panelists will share their understanding of the nuances of today’s investing environment, addressing what investors seek, how founders can effectively communicate their vision, and the optimal timing to secure investment.

2. Inspiring Futures: A Reception to Empower a Modern Entrepreneurial Community: April 12, 3:15-4:30pm. Statler Ballroom, Ithaca, NY.

This engaging reception is designed to connect and empower, especially historically underrepresented individuals who have faced barriers in entering the field and/or in securing funding. We will spotlight women and non-binary entrepreneurs at Cornell, their technologies, or their startups. Through a curated selection of games, display of posters, and videos, attendees will immerse themselves in the stories of Cornell innovators and entrepreneurs and discover methods to support and move forward in the modern entrepreneurial landscape.
