A Plant License – AUTM Annual Conference

February 23 @ 10:30 am - 10:45 am

The anatomy of a plant license is different from that of a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical devices license. Different types of intellectual property protect plants, so drafting associated licenses can be challenging. The deal terms vary according to the type of license. Plants are a huge part of the earth’s ecosystem, and understanding how they grow and eventually reach the market is attractive. Panelists will cover these issues. Join this session, and you may even learn how the soybean made it to our dinner plates.
