From reproductive health menopause to mental health, more attention is being paid to women’s health issues as they are becoming less taboo. As of 2021, the women’s health segment accounts for only 4% of R&D funding and only 1.4% of capital invested in healthcare [1]; however, it is one of the fastest-growing segments in the healthcare industry. The field is mainly driven by innovation in digital health and surgical innovations.
In a special panel, CTL@WCM will address the opportunities in the field with the lens of commercialization and venture creation. Our guest panelists will provide insight as we explore the trends in women’s health, the emergence of women-led companies, and the role of women founders.
