Navigating Entrepreneurship in Neurotech

November 16, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Thursday, November 16, 4-5 pm ET, join us for a virtual panel “Navigating Entrepreneurship in Neurotech,” which will discuss the current challenges and strategies of building a startup in the Neurotech space. In the rapidly evolving landscape of neurotechnology, the panel will discuss the pivotal steps required to de-risk innovations in this dynamic field. From applications in the ICU for a traumatic brain injury to brain-computer interface technology to enhance motor skills and video-based devices used to combat mental health challenges, what does it take to build a neurotech startup?

Learn from rising entrepreneurs in this space about funding and regulatory strategies they’ve pursued, as well as how they’ve surpassed challenges in obtaining data for their neurotech in a relatively new and evolving environment.

Panelists:
– Susan Pannullo, MD – Professor of Clinical Neurological Surgery, Weill Cornell Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering (Moderator)
– Benjamin Rapoport, MD, PhD – Co-Founder, CSO, Precision Neuroscience, Neurosurgeon, Mount Sinai Health System, former co-founding team member of #Neuralink, an X company (Panelist)
