The I-Corps Regional Course is funded by NSF, run by the Cornell-based UNY I-Corps Node and taught by experienced entrepreneurs. Using an ‘evidence-based entrepreneurship’ methodology, scientists learn how to develop business hypotheses, test them in interviews with potential customers, and find product-market fit.
After successfully completing the regional course, teams can become eligible to apply to the national NSF I-Corps Teams program where they’ll receive $50,000 to continue their customer discovery process.
