Pitch for the People Information Session #1

Are you passionate about social impact? Do you have an idea that’s going to change the world?

“Pitch for the People” is a virtual pitch competition that allows Cornell students, staff, and faculty to present an idea poised to solve a social problem for funding of up to $2,500. The competition invites teams of 1-5 individuals from the Cornell community to propose a project or venture to better humanity or investigate an interesting research question Teams must include at least one member studying or conducting research in the humanities or social sciences.

 

  • Receive detailed feedback from a panel of industry professionals
  • Engage with like-minded students and grow your professional network
  • Receive funding and guidance to bring your social impact ideas to life

To enter the competition, teams must complete a short application to provide background information on their pitch and the problem they are trying to solve. Applications are due Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Submit your Pitch for the People application here.
