Are you passionate about social impact? Do you have an idea that’s going to change the world?
“Pitch for the People” is a virtual pitch competition that allows Cornell students, staff, and faculty to present an idea poised to solve a social problem for funding of up to $2,500. The competition invites teams of 1-5 individuals from the Cornell community to propose a project or venture to better humanity or investigate an interesting research question Teams must include at least one member studying or conducting research in the humanities or social sciences.
If you’re interested but have some questions, come to the EHub, second floor, for an in-person information session on April 12 at 7 p.m. or join via Zoom by using this link.
To enter the competition, teams must complete a short application to provide background information on their pitch and the problem they are trying to solve. Applications are due Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Submit your Pitch for the People application here.
