Royal Empire® is a whole-limb sport of Empire. Royal Empire® produces fruit significantly brighter and redder than its parent. This color distinction allows for a higher proportion of the fruit to qualify for extra fancy grade. Royal Empire® has creamy-white flesh that is moderately sub-acid. The tree is vigorous and upright.
