2023 CCMR Facilities 101 Workshop

The Cornell Center for Materials Research (CCMR) has opened registration for its 2023 Facilities 101 Workshop on April 13^th. Facilities 101 is an annual event that connects CCMR resources and academic expertise with companies that need help overcoming any number of technical or scientific challenges. During the day-long workshop, attendees will receive an overview of programs by staff, receive facility tours, and participate in live demonstrations. Businesses that are looking to develop a new product or have a technical challenge with an existing product are encouraged to attend this one-day event on the Campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Attendees will learn about CCMR, receive details about various programs offered that provide financial and technical assistance to companies, tour labs, see live demonstrations of high-technology equipment, and meet staff scientists who can help companies overcome technical barriers with a materials-related challenge. CCMR can help companies from any industry – from cookie frosting to semiconductors.
